QC Dev is a consulting and development firm in Laval, Québec. We run technology projects and build the software behind them for organizations across Canada and the Caribbean, with the discipline of federal government delivery and the pace of a small team.
Our story
Why QC Dev exists
QC Dev grew out of years of delivering technology for the Government of Canada and enterprise clients: release management for a federal contact centre serving millions of Canadians, a four-year federal research program delivered phase by phase to full acceptance, and a service desk built from scratch.
The lesson was the same every time. Projects go best when the people running the plan understand the build, and the people building it can see the plan. Most organizations hire those two things separately and lose time and money in the gap. We offer both in one firm.
We proved it on our own product first. Pocket Dispatch, dispatch software born from a problem in Antigua and Barbuda, where callers often describe where they are by landmarks, went from first commit to live at pocketdispatch.com in 12 weeks, with more than 1,300 automated tests behind it.
QC Dev was incorporated in Québec on 1 October 2026. We take on a small number of projects at a time, so each one is led by a senior consultant from the first call to launch.
